PvT Habitation Station53.2%

Let us know what statistics you would like to see in the next update!

Special Replays

This week, we pulled the longest replay, the replay with the most chat, and a replay with a hero unit.

Hero Unit Games:

JFDeimosMX had the misfortune to face both of this weeks hero units in two separate games. A Marine with 30 kills: http://sc2replaystats.com/replay/475536 and a Siege Tank with 53 (no locusts): http://sc2replaystats.com/replay/462785

Game one posed a small problem: How do you find the Marine with the most kills when at any given point in the replay, 50+ are on the map and marching to their death? In fact, how does a Marine get 30 kills? Most were lucky to get three before meeting their death.

But eventually I found him.

The death of a hero.

It was too late to save him — but this brave little Marine won him the game.

While game two was wild and wonky; the achievements of a single tank weren’t as impressive — and they didn’t win him the game.

A game well won.

You know you’ve won a game well when there is none of the enemy color left on the mini-map. Not a scrap.

Chattiest Replay

Tired of chattiest replay being two polite, low-level players discussing strategy? Never fear! This week, we have WarTankPrime begging for a win: http://sc2replaystats.com/replay/476640

Although I don’t want to be harsh on the players, between WarTankPrime’s defeatist attitude (I think he gave up 6 times or more?) and Swarms clan tag and decal, this game is incredibly classy.

I ordered some food

With an hour left on the replay, WarTankPrime asks Swarm to give him the game because he “has to go.”

But like a cat playing with it’s food, Swarm refuses to give him the win — or kill him. As long as WarTankPrime has mining he insists he still has a chance to win — and he wont let WarTankPrime stop trying.

So he lets him live, but occasionally sends a single Ultralisk or Broodlord just to reset his already painstakingly slow process.

As a result; this replay was a close contender for longest replay. Although you can’t truely appreciate the hilarity of the replay without watching it, I can understand if you wouldn’t want to watch all two hours of it so I compiled an album of some of my favorite moments. You can also read the chat log on the replay page.

But alas, after all of his tormenting and teasing — Swarm still didn’t let him have the game; ending it by building a Ghost after Neural Parasiting an SCV to Nuke his last building dead.

Last but not least. .

Thanks for reading this week’s ladder challenge update! If you have any suggestions; let me know. Make sure to tell all of your friends about the challenge, and good luck!
